Welcome to Haywards Heath Town Youth FC
About Haywards Heath Town YouthFC
Haywards Heath Town Youth FC was formed in 2007 as Mid Sussex Blues.
We are passionate in our provision of true grassroots football for our local community. Our ultimate goal is to provide coaching for all age groups, from U7 to U18, opening up a pathway to the senior team, meaning that our players have a complete connection to the club from the very beginning.
We are an FA Charter Standard club, and currently have teams in U7/U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U17.
All our coaches are FA qualified, and our great facilities include a 3G training pitch and club house.
We welcome players of all ages and abilities. During our training sessions they will participate in a warm-up, followed by structured drills leading to an exposition of those skills in a small sided match*. These sessions are designed to help them develop physically, tactically and socially. We introduce the rules of the game at an early age and the principles of sportsmanship. We seek to create teams that can compete with the very best, but having fun is our top priority. Our coaches will evaluate your child’s performance level and model and partner as necessary, enabling them to feel comfortable and confident.
Players should arrive early for the sessions, wearing shin pads and footwear appropriate for the surface. They should be mindful of the British weather, so it’s best to ‘layer up’, including waterproofs. They should keep themselves hydrated throughout.
Please feel free to contact the relevant age group via our 'meet the coaches page' as indicated below:
U7/U8 - Richard Meanwell & Gavin Humphrey
U10 - Laurence Piper & Ivan Dunne
U12 - Jerry Brennan
U14 - Steve Thurley, Neil Pearce & Wayne Emerson
U16 - Spencer Grout & Phil Pierpoint
U17 - Emmett Leet & Dylan Leet

Now that we have several age groups, we would like to start a Boot Box, where pre-loved boots are available for growing boys and girls.
If you have a pair of Boots that no longer fit you but are still in good condition, you can do one of the following:-
Donate them for someone else
Swap them for a different size
Or choose a pair and donate an amount to the Club Funds in the Money Box provided
Boot Box is located at the container next to the Astro pitch at Hanbury Lane
Good teams, whatever the circumstances or the atmosphere or the pitch, find a way of playing.Gareth Southgate
